Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read and understand the following Terms and Conditions before enrolling in piano lessons with Ellie Piano Studio.
By booking or attending lessons, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Lesson Schedule
Lessons are scheduled weekly.
If you wish to change your lesson time or day, please email elliepiano820@gmail.com, or sent a message to Ellie.
If a change cannot be accommodated, you may retain your current time or request to be placed on the waiting list.
Trial Lesson Period
All students have to paid 4-lesson in advance. No refund or price negotiation can be made.
All 4 or more lessons must be paid in advance.
Lesson Payments
A minimum of 4 prepaid lessons is required at all times.
Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer.
Failure to make payment before lessons commence will result in loss of the reserved time slot.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the studio in writing to discuss alternate arrangements.
Refunds and Credits
All paid fees are non-refundable, including:
Lesson fees (attended, missed, or cancelled)
Exam or event registration fees
Concerts, eisteddfods, or studio event fees
Lesson fees cannot be transferred to another student, sibling, or friend.
Lesson Attendance and Cancellations
We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Cancellations made within 24 hours, or missed appointments, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the appointment fee. We truly appreciate your understanding, we have a waiting list of patients, and last-minute cancellations prevent us from offering lesson to those who need it.
Thank you for respecting our time and our community.
If the teacher (Ellie) cancels a lesson, a make-up lesson will be arranged β no 24-hour notice is required.
Late arrivals: Lessons will finish at the usual scheduled time.

Lesson Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully during lessons.
Parents are encouraged to attend lessons for younger students to support home practice.
No food is allowed in the studio (water bottles only).
Lesson goals and practice notes are provided to assist at home.
Health and Safety
Students must sanitize their hands upon arrival and maintain good hygiene.
If a student is unwell, please do not attend in person β an online lesson via Zoom can be arranged if notified in advance.
Lesson fees remain the same for on-site and online lessons.
Please note:
The studio is not responsible for loss of personal items or injury that occurs on premises.
Discontinuing Lessons
Notice to discontinue lessons must be provided in writing at least one week in advance.
Prepaid lesson fees are non-refundable, but remaining lessons may be completed within the paid period.
Purchasing or Loaning Materials
From time to time, the studio may purchase materials or accessories on behalf of students (e.g., sheet music, books, exam fees).
These will be invoiced and must be paid in advance or reimbursed.
Loaned items may require a hire fee or security deposit.
If items are lost, damaged, or stolen, a replacement fee will be charged at full value.
Child Protection and Working with Children Check
Ellie Piano Studio holds a valid Working with Children Check and upholds a Child Protection Policy to ensure every childβs safety and wellbeing.
All children have the right to feel safe and be safe.
You may request to view the full Child Protection Policy at any time.
Guarantee of Lesson Slot
Once prepaid lessons are received, the studio guarantees your reserved lesson time for the entire prepaid period.
Ongoing payment ensures continuation of that time slot.
